Frequently Asked Questions
All-Around Safe Series
Security Considerations

BODY THICKNESS
The thicker the walls of the safe, the longer it will take for a burglar to gain entry. While most other manufacturers offer safes with light 12 Guage (or thinner) bodies, Rhino and Bighorn Safes are only made with thicker 10 GA/3mm steel bodies. This is about 1/8" of an inch and is the minimum thickness we recommend for residential security.

ANCHORING TO FLOOR
Your safe should be bolted down to the floor for security and safety reasons. If it was moved into your house it can moved out of your house by the burglar(s) unless you bolt it down!

ELECTRIC LOCK?
All Rhino and Bighorn safes can be ordered with the optional high quality LaGard or LP brand electric lock. Electric locks offer simple and fast entry, easy code changing, and the use of multiple entry codes if desired.
